10 lakh women to benefit from interest free loan: CM | Vadodara News – Times of India

CM Rupani announced that assistance will be provided by December 2022

Vadodara: Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that 10 lakh women in the state will be given an interest free loan of one thousand crore rupees to promote self-employment. At an event held at Sayaji Nagargriha on Wednesday to kick-start the loan disbursement process, the CM announced that the assistance would be given till December 2022.
On Wednesday, a benefit of Rs 140 crore was given to women groups including 14,000 women. The event was organized as a part of the celebration of five years of governance under the current CM.
Speaking on the occasion, Rupani said that the state government is working by ensuring that the needs of all sections of the society are taken care of. Rupani further said that the development of the state is not possible without the participation and cooperation of the people. He said that an amount of Rs 15,000 would be worked out through 18,000 programs during the nine-day long festival.
