The Green India Challenge organizers said that under this new challenge, the teams are all set to break the record of planting 3 lakh, 3 thousand saplings in Turkey in 2019 and make it to the Guinness Book of World Records. To make this program a big success, preparations are being made in Bela Mandal of Adilabad district where arrangements for 2 lakh saplings have been made. 1,80,000 saplings will be planted in over 45,000 houses in the urban area, 120,000 saplings on either side of R&B roads, 5,00,000 saplings and over 25,000 saplings will be planted in 200 acres of degraded forest area similar to the Miyawaki model.
