Kupwara: One person was killed and two others injured after a car met with an accident at Nechian Top in Karnah sector of Kupwara district of North Kashmir.
The trio was traveling in an Alto vehicle when the accident took place this afternoon, an official said.
He said that one person died on the spot in the incident while two others were injured and have been admitted to the hospital.
He identified the deceased as Mohammad Rafiq Qureshi (52), a resident of Tad Karnah.
The two injured have been identified as Shakoor Ahmed, a resident of Dragar and Mohammad Ramzan, a resident of Handwara.
