There was a clash in Mominpur in 2022. This matter is because of them. Recently NIA raided 17 places in Mominpur. About 36 lakh rupees were recovered. Many important documents have also been recovered.

The NIA took over the investigation on October 28 on the directions of the Union Home Ministry. NIA visited Mominpur several times for investigation for more than two months. The NIA team also goes to Lalbazar. The NIA claims that no connection has been found with the remaining 20 people in this case.
On the other hand, the Kolkata Police is also conducting a separate investigation in this matter.
