‘জেহাদিদের কাছে আত্মসমর্পণ’,’নির্লজ্জ তোষণ’ ছবি নিষিদ্ধ নিয়ে শুভেন্দু, সুকান্ত

The state government has banned ‘The Kerala Story’. Opposition parties have criticized the government’s decision. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced the ban on ‘The Kerala Story’ from Navana. After that Shubhendu wrote on Twitter, ‘As far as I know, the way women are brainwashed by fundamentalist clerics in Kerala is shown in the film. The film shows how women from Kerala are converted and sent to Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria to fight for ISIS. The film is made against ISIS and its modus operandi. So does Mamta Banerjee sympathize with ISIS? The Leader of the Opposition also shared a screen shot of Shabana Azmi’s tweet along with his tweet. Where the actress strongly criticized the announcement of this ban. Shubhendu Adhikari also wrote, ‘If this picture is shown then why will law and order deteriorate? The decision to ban the images should be withdrawn. And if the Chief Minister cannot maintain law and order in the state, then he should resign.

BJP state president Sukant Mazumdar has also come out in almost the same tone against the ban on ‘The Kerala Story’. He said, ‘It has become clear from this decision whose party Trinamool is actually. Earlier, the Chief Minister has presented the shameless example of Toshan. This time he surrendered to the Jihadis. Trinamool has no right to say anything about freedom of industry, freedom of expression.
