President Draupadi Murmu attended the 25th convocation ceremony of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University as the chief guest. His helicopter landed at Hisar airport at around quarter to one in the afternoon.

I have come to Haryana three times. I am also the daughter of a farmer. That’s why he himself is interested in many subjects. Most of the interest is on subjects related to farmers. The population of India is increasing rapidly. Accordingly, I want to know myself what arrangements are being made by the students of the Agricultural University for Annadata.

This Agricultural University is thinking not only for the farmers but for the whole of India and the world. Today, many children do not want to work related to the soil, but I see that whether it is a boy or a girl in Haryana, they are moving forward to solve the problems of the farmers.

Today, Haryana is the second state to contribute to the central food grain stock. The credit for this goes to the farmers of the state. Today the whole world is facing the challenges of global warming.

CM Manohar Lal said in his address that in 2015 I got the opportunity to come. Today the Honorable President has come in our midst. It is a matter of pride. The President is from a very simple family. Has done social service and education service. It was established in 1970, at that time Haryana was already formed.

A large part of Haryana was desert. At that time there was a yield of 26 lakh tonnes of food grains. Due to the hard work and innovative methods of HAU, Haryana is at the second position. Produces 183 lakh metric tonnes. Punjab and Haryana had eradicated the hunger of the stomach in the Green Revolution. Today the country is self-reliant. NABARD was founded by Chaudhary Charan Singh

The CM said that in 1991 it was named after Chaudhary Charan Singh. He established NABARD while he was the Finance Minister. He was named after such a personality. Today there are big challenges in front of the farmer. In 2015, there was a big loss in February and March. Water crisis is a big challenge today.

The CM said that the VC gave the slogan of Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Vigyan followed by Jai Anusandhan. But I add Jai Pahalwan to it.

Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya said that he is happy that girls are ahead in agricultural matters. Among the gold medalists, out of the first 6 places, 4 are girls and two are boys. This is a matter of pleasure.

VC Baldev Raj Kamboj said that our university is the best university in the area. Three thousand students are taking the study. Sent 29 students to Czech Republic students. Students have been sent abroad for education and research. After the Green Revolution, the University is now contributing to the Blue Revolution. The university has applied for patenting 28 technologies, out of which 21 technologies have been patented.
