Defense officials said that the proposals that have been approved include the purchase of mounted gun systems, armored vehicles and radars.

These 24 proposals include 6 for the Indian Army, 6 for the Air Force, 10 for the Indian Navy and 2 for the Indian Coast Guard.

Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has given information about this. The ministry informed that the DAC has accepted the proposals made for several weapons including futuristic Infantry Combat Vehicles, Project Zorawar Light Tank, Mounted Gun System for the Indian Army. He told that now the Indian Air Force will be provided with new range missile system, long range bombs and advanced surveillance system. This will make the Air Force stronger. Apart from this, new generation patrol vessels will be purchased for the Indian Coast Guard.
