Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala was shot dead on May 29 last year in Mansa.

Pakistani supplier had supplied weapons for the murder of Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh alias Sidhu Musewala. This has been revealed in the investigation of the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Hamid, a Pakistani arms supplier living in Dubai, got these weapons delivered from Pakistan. Austria’s Glock-30, Jigana pistol, German made Heckler & Koch, Star and AK 47 were used in Musewala’s murder.

The NIA arrested Shahbaz Ansari, a hawala businessman from Bulandshahr, on 8 December 2022. During interrogation of Shahbaz Ansari, it was found that he is close to Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar. Shahbaz Ansari went to Dubai and Canada several times. Where he came in touch with Goldie Brar.

During these visits he came in contact with Faizi Khan, a Pakistani national who runs a hawala business in Dubai. It was Faizi Khan who introduced Shahbaz Ansari to Hamid, a Pakistani citizen and arms supplier sitting in Dubai. Shahbaz Ansari’s father, the deceased Kurban Ansari, was the biggest arms supplier of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

These weapons were used in the murder of Musewala, whose photographs were released by the police.

In this meeting asked for weapons to kill Musewala
According to the investigation, there was a meeting between Hamid and Shahbaz Ansari. In which there was talk about supplying arms for the murder of Sidhu Musewala. Gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar had demanded assault rifles and other modern hi-tech weapons for the murder of Musewala. Hamid then told Ansari that he was also in touch with Goldie Brar and had provided arms to her several times. According to the NIA, Hamid showed Ansari his phone, which had an audio recording related to the supply of arms to Goldie Brar.

Lawrence had hatched the entire plot of the murder, which was executed by his closest aide Goldie Brar.

NIA is probing Hamid’s network
The NIA is trying to gather more details about the arms distribution network of Hamid and Faizi Khan along with Ansari. Although, the NIA is not directly probing Musewala’s murder, but the entire matter is being brought to the fore on the basis of two FIRs registered regarding the nexus between gangsters and Khalistani supporters in North India.

After the murder of Musewala, sharpshooters Priyavart Fauji, Ankit Sersa and Kapil Pandit along with other murderers were seen dancing showing weapons in the car. Its video was found from the mobile of shooter Ankit Sersa.

Everyone had planned together
Giving details of the plan to kill Musewala, the NIA said in the documents – all the accused were lodged in 6 different jails during the conspiracy to murder Sidhu Musewala. Lawrence Bishnoi and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria were in Tihar Jail, Manpreet alias Manna Ferozepur, Saraj Singh alias Mintoo in Bathinda Special Jail and Manmohan Singh alias Mohana in Mansa Jail. Satinderjit Singh alias Goldie Brar was in contact with him even while living abroad. After discussions with prison colleagues, the shooters were finally assigned the task of killing Musewala.

About 60 lakhs were sent to Goldie through hawala route
During remand in the past, Bishnoi told NIA that Brar had sent 6 shooters to kill Musewala. Goldie Brar arranged for the shooters’ stay and vehicles. Apart from that helped Musewala in Reiki. Then about 60 lakh rupees were also sent through hawala to Goldie Brar living in Canada. Which were used to buy weapons and hire shooters.

Sharpshooters Jagroop Roopa and Mannu Kusa, who killed Moosewala, were killed in an encounter at Attari in Amritsar. After which the police recovered this AK47 from there. Whose Musewala was also shot.

Khalistani link is also coming in front
NIA has also found Khalistani link of Musewala’s murder. It said that Canada-based Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) banned leader Lakhbir Singh Landa was in touch with Goldie Brar. That’s why his role can also be in the murder of Musewala. After which the NIA has also got involved in the investigation along with the Khalistani angle.

29 Musewala was murdered on May
On May 29 last year, Musewala was shot dead by six shooters using AK47s and foreign made pistols at Jawaharke village in Mansa district of Punjab. Moosewala was going with two friends in Thar jeep at that time. There was no gunman with him. A day before this, the Punjab government had taken back 2 of his 4 gunmen.

Later, Goldie Brar of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the murder. Goldie said that Musewala and his manager Shaganpreet were involved in the murder of Lawrence’s college friend Vicky Middukheda. The police did not take any action on Moosewala, so in revenge they killed Moosewala. In this case, the police has presented the charge sheet.
