On the second day of his visit to Jammu and Kashmir, Union Home Minister Amit Shah laid the foundation stone of ‘Sacrifice Pillar’ at Pratap Park in Srinagar. This pillar is being built in Pratap Park near the historic Lal Chowk of the city.

According to sources, Shah will also meet senior political leaders. After completing his two-day visit, he will leave for Delhi in the afternoon, where he has called an all-party meeting on the Manipur violence today.

On Friday, the first day of his visit, Shah laid the foundation stone of several development projects, including the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) in Samba district. He also handed over Golden Health Cards to the needy people.

He also met the victims of the Rajouri attack. Apart from this, addressed the people attending the Vitasta Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture in Srinagar.

Last day, in a public meeting in Jammu, Shah said that a photo session is going on in Patna today. No matter how many parties come to the meeting, they will never be together. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee remembered
At the rally in Jammu, Shah said that today is the martyrdom day of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee. Mukherjee had served in Jawaharlal Nehru’s cabinet. Bengal is a part of India today only because of his sacrifice. He opposed Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. He had said that two legislations, two principals and two marks will not work in a country.

Shah said that Mukherjee had reached Jammu and Kashmir in 1953 against Article 370. Here he was falsely arrested. We all know that he was murdered. But now Article 370 is over.
