It can be seen that people tied the camel’s neck to a tree and beat it with sticks. The camel stood for some time, then due to the effect of the beating its condition started deteriorating and it fell down. The camel died after being hit so hard. Actually, this camel had killed its owner, after which people killed the camel.

The camel had taken the life of its owner Sohanram on Monday evening. Sohanram was the only earner in the family. There is chaos in the family after his death.

The case pertains to Panchu village of Nokha. The relatives of the deceased Sohanram Nayak (45 years) told that Sohanram had reached Dhani on Monday evening with a camel cart from the village. He was taking the camel to the field. During this the camel caught hold of Sohanram’s neck. Sohanram tried to free himself, but could not.

Neighbor Bhanwarlal Meghwal, Sohanram’s father Mohanram reached the spot as soon as the incident was informed. Tried to drive the camel away with sticks, but Sohanlal bled to death due to the camel’s neck being in its mouth. He died on the spot.

After this, the villagers somehow captured the camel. At the same time, the crowd gathered after the incident thrashed the camel to death. Angry people say that if the camel had remained alive, it would have harmed many more people.

Camel was bought 20 days ago
Nemaram Nayak, the son of the deceased’s aunt told – Sohanram had bought this camel 20 days back. Because of this he did not know the nature of the camel. The camel was violent by nature. Sohanram used to earn his living by driving a camel cart. Sohanram has 5 sons and 2 daughters. The eldest son is 18 years old.

After the death of the owner, the family first tied the camel to a tree and then killed it.

Action will be taken on the basis of the report
Station Officer Manoj Yadav said – Camel was the pet of Sohanram Nayak. Further action will be taken on the basis of the report of the relatives. The postmortem of the dead body is being done. No case has been registered till this morning. The camel killing case is also being probed.
