After the onset of monsoon in UP, clouds of political tension have also started thundering. On June 29, it rained heavily in Kashi. It rained so much that all underpasses, posh areas and roads in the city were flooded. Showing this condition of Banaras, Akhilesh Yadav targeted the Yogi government. He jokingly compared the waterlogged streets of Kashi to Venice.
The next turn was of CM Yogi. He replied to this tweet of Akhilesh within just 15 hours during the program in Prayagraj. CM Yogi handed over 76 flats built on the land freed from the possession of mafia Atiq Ahmed to the poor in Lukarganj. Meanwhile, when he turned the tap installed in a flat, people laughed and clapped.
Yogi did not stop here. Handing over the keys of the flat to the poor on stage, he said, “Our government stands with the poor. Earlier governments used to stand with the mafia.” This statement of CM Yogi is now being considered as a reply to Akhilesh’s ‘Venice’ tweet.
- Let us know from where this action-reaction started between the two leaders.
Date 29 June, time 11:06 pm. SP President Akhilesh Yadav tweeted a video targeting the BJP government. In the video, people were passing under the Chowkaghat bridge which was full of rain water. Some people standing in the midst of this waterlogging were indicating to take out the vehicles.
Showing the condition of the roads of Kashi in the rain, Akhilesh wrote- ‘As soon as the rain came, the BJP showed the truth of development, they wanted to make Kashi Kyoto, but instead made it Venice’. After this tweet of Akhilesh, many people supported his point. Talked about the miseries that happen during the rains in Kashi.
More than 2 lakh people saw this tweet of Akhilesh. While more than 2500 retweeted. By 9 am, this tweet became so viral that it was liked by 10,000 people.
Yogi turned the ‘spout’ after 15 hours…
Yogi replied to Akhilesh’s late night tweet in Prayagraj. Yogi was on Prayagraj tour. Around 1 pm, Yogi handed over the keys of 76 flats built on the land freed from the possession of mafia Atiq Ahmed in Lukarganj to the poor. The CM also interacted with the 20 people to whom flats were given.
During the interaction with the beneficiaries, he said, “Before 2017, anyone used to occupy the land here. Now we are building houses for the poor on the same land. Now no one bothers the businessmen and the poor. Under the leadership of PM Modi 54 lakh people have got houses. Earlier the state government did not want to provide houses to any poor. Soon 10 lakh people are going to get new houses.”
CM Yogi took another jibe at the SP government. This time he said, “Our government stands with the poor. Earlier governments used to stand with the mafia. Earlier, the mafia protected the lands from the government. Now this cannot happen in our government.” CM Yogi also went to the flats allotted to the people. There he opened a tap and showed water coming.
On June 28, Akhilesh tweeted on the bull
SP President Akhilesh Yadav had tweeted a video of the bull on June 28, a day before the ‘Venice’ tweet. In this tweet, a bull is attacking a man in the middle of the market. When the other person hits him with a stick, the bull backs away. Meanwhile, taking the opportunity, the first man hides under the throne to save himself.
In this tweet, Akhilesh wrote- ‘Your life in the hands of the bull in the BJP rule.’ 6 lakh people have seen this tweet till the time of writing this news. At the same time, more than 13 thousand people have liked it.
- Akhilesh’s tweet on Kashi’s rain and CM Yogi’s turning the spout is now being seen as political action-reaction. We also spoke to political experts on this tussle between the leaders. Let’s listen to his words…
‘Akhilesh’s tweets are like self-goals, will harm in Lok Sabha elections’
Political affairs expert Kumar Bhavesh Chandra says, “The monsoon rains have been mentioned in the politics of UP for a long time. Opposition parties have often been attacking the ruling party by shielding the bad system during the rainy season. But in my understanding, Doing weakens the opposition further.
Akhilesh should question the falling employment level, inflation and health system in the UP government, but he is besieging the government on weak issues (eg bull, rain). Doing all this will not have any special effect on the public. On the contrary, it is a move like scoring a self-goal.”
‘Such political maneuvers will be seen more before the Lok Sabha elections’
Senior journalist Vivek Kumar from Lucknow says, “Look, less than a year is left for the Lok Sabha elections. Now the time has come for the parties to selectively point out the shortcomings of the ruling party. So that people can understand who cares for them.” Who is and who is not.
If Yogi is seen launching any big scheme in the coming days, then Akhilesh will tell that project as his own. This is the interesting part of politics. I believe that such action-reaction has just started. Keep watching ahead who will say what to whom.
