The Prime Minister, who arrived at the inauguration program of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, was made to wear a traditional Rajasthani turban.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated the first phase of the country’s largest expressway. After this, the PM said in the meeting – Congress was afraid of building roads in the border areas. They thought that the enemy would come inside the country by walking through the roads built by us. I do not understand why the Congress has been undermining the valor and bravery of our soldiers.
PM said- Our army knows very well to stop the enemies on the border and give them a befitting reply. He targeted Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in gestures without naming him. He said that the budget was kept locked in a box for a whole year. Anyone can make mistakes, but it proves that the Congress has neither vision nor weight in its words.
The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone of National Highway projects worth about 5940 crores. These include the Link Express connecting the expressway to Jaipur.
PM narrated the story, then said – it has nothing to do with Rajasthan
PM said- I was a worker of Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh and used to stay on tour. Once a gentleman asked for food. I said haven’t eaten yet, so he said let’s go to a wedding, we’ll have food there. When we went to that village, we came to know that the marriage had taken place a year ago and my partner had a year old card in his hand. Although it has nothing to do with Rajasthan.
Said on law and order – BJP government is necessary to save Rajasthan
Had the double engine government been in place in the last five years, the development here would have been faster. Congress does the work of stalling, distracting, hanging things, due to which the works of development are thrown. Neither do these people work themselves nor do they allow it to be done. The law and order situation is getting worse everyday. From the kind of news that is coming out from Rajasthan, it seems that if the culture and pride of Rajasthan is to be saved then BJP government will have to be brought in the state.
Travel time between Delhi-Jaipur will be halved
The PM said that the central government has been spending a huge amount on such projects for the last 9 years. In this year’s budget, a provision of Rs 10 lakh crore has been made only for infrastructure. This is 5 times more than in 2014. He said- The time taken to go from Jaipur to Delhi by this highway will be halved. This expressway will connect ports, logistics parks with many states.
Everyone benefits from spending on infrastructure
The Prime Minister said that there is another side to building modern infrastructure. When it is ready, farmers, students, businessmen all get many facilities. There are many such studies in the world, which show that the amount invested in infrastructure shows manifold effect on the land, it attracts investment manifold.
The total length of the expressway to be built from Delhi to Mumbai is 1385 km. The 247 km long first phase has eight lanes.
Road infrastructure will be like America before 2024
Earlier, at the beginning of the inauguration program, Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the alignment of the highway has been corrected using satellite, taking the help of this technology, the distance between Delhi and Mumbai has been reduced by 275 km. He claimed that before the end of the year 2024, India’s road infrastructure will be equal to that of America.
Electric cable will also be laid between Jaipur-Delhi
Gadkari said that an electric cable will also be laid between Jaipur and Delhi, so that electric trucks and buses can ply on this route. For this, the help of scientists is also being taken.
Nitin Gadkari welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi by wearing a turban, while he was presented with the symbol of Vijay Stambh of Chittorgarh as a memento. The Vijay Stambh was built by Maharana Kumbha of Mewar after defeating Mahmud Khilji.
1000 kg goods can be delivered by drone
Nitin Gadkari said that as there is an airport, there will also be a drone port in the future. Now the drone can fly with up to 200 kg of goods, soon it will be able to carry up to 1000 kg of goods.
First greenfield expressway will be there, pure air will be available
The length of the Delhi-Dausa-Lalsot section is 247 KM. It has been made in 12 thousand 150 crore rupees. It is Asia’s first expressway with 3 animal underpasses. More than 10 lakh saplings are being planted to reduce pollution. A space of about 10 to 15 feet has been kept between the two roads.
Big circles have been made at the exchange points. Saplings of Neem, Snake, Erica, Gerbera and Xylene are specially being planted here. These plants will keep the environment pure. They observe poisonous gases along with carbon dioxide. (Click here to know the features of Expressway)
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that we have prepared a detailed report on the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project. We have sent the detail report to Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. After the approval of both the state governments, the central government will take it forward.
People teased Rajasthan by calling it a sick state
Regarding the crowd present here, he said that this is a trailer, the film is yet to be released. He said that some people have teased Rajasthan by calling it a sick state, but the BJP is making Rajasthan the strongest base of developed India. Modi said that in the last nine years, we have prepared a strong network of roads in all the border areas including Rajasthan. Now 1000 km more roads will be built on the border. That is, BJP is making Rajasthan a state of new possibilities. We are also working on providing water to every house.

100 year old demand fulfilled
Narendra Modi said that the work on the rail line from Gujarat to Abu Road has started. This demand has been fulfilled by the BJP itself. This demand was going on for 100 years. The Prime Minister said that in nine years we have paid attention to those people who were deprived of development. Every class including poor, backward, tribal, banjara, street vendors has been taken care of. Our government has given constitutional status to the OBC commission for the first time. Due to the engineering-medical studies being done in English, the village-tribal families were left behind, that’s why we have emphasized on getting these studies done in the local language.
I love the millet bread here
Claiming to have given a new identity to coarse grains, the Prime Minister said that when I come here, I miss hospitality. I love the bajra roti made here. The coarse grain will be known as Shrianna in the world market. These grains are also nutritious. We have taken many steps to benefit the farmers, for this the small farmers of Rajasthan who are affected by drought will get its direct benefit.

Gehlot asked the PM to declare ERCP as a national project.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, who was involved in video conferencing in the inauguration programme, said that it has already been decided to declare 50 roads as national highways, but its notification has not been done yet. Work should also be done soon on Jaipur Ring Road, Jodhpur Elevated Road.
He said that the Prime Minister should also give importance to the Eastern Region Canal Project (ERCP) and declare it a national project. It is very important for a Prime Minister to visit a state for the second time within fifteen days, so Rajasthan is expecting a lot from you.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also laid the foundation stone of 4-laning 67 km Bandikui-Jaipur Link Road, 86 km 6-laning Kotputli-Alwar-Delhi Mumbai Interchange National Expressway. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar also joined through video conferencing. Haryana has a 129 km stretch of this expressway. And the expressway in Rajasthan is 373 km long.
There will be green fields on both sides of the expressway. The work of preparing it is also going on at a fast pace.

During the program, the Prime Minister also laid the foundation stones of 246 km of different National Highway projects, to be built at a cost of more than Rs 5940 crore.
These projects include 67 km long four-lane link road from Bandikui to Jaipur to be developed at a cost of more than Rs 2,000 crore, Kotputli to Baraodanio to be developed at a cost of Rs 3,775 crore and Lalsot to be built at a cost of Rs 150 crore. Two-lane paved shoulder of Karauli section is included.
BJP claims that 2 lakh people are gathering in Modi’s meeting. Three big domes have been prepared for people to sit in the meeting.
Narendra Modi came to Dausa district for the third time
Narendra Modi has come to Dausa district for the third time, while as Prime Minister he is visiting the district for the second time. Narendra Modi had come to Bandikui in 2013 to campaign for the assembly elections when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. After this, during the assembly elections in the year 2018, he also came to Dausa to campaign for the party candidates. After that, the expressway was inaugurated in Dhanavad village today.
