Singer Sonu Nigam got into a scuffle during a live concert in Mumbai’s Chembur area. In this case, he reached the police station late on Monday night and lodged an FIR against the accused for causing injury and wrongful restraint. According to the information, the accused has not been arrested yet.

According to DCP Hemraj Singh Rajput, after the live concert, Sonu Nigam was coming down from the stage when a man grabbed him. When Sonu objected, he pushed two companions including him, one of those two people got injured. The name of the accused is Swapnil Futterpekar. He is the son of the local MLA.

Sonu Nigam reached Mumbai’s Chembur police station late night and lodged an FIR.

Sonu said – I fell down the stairs

I fell on the stairs. I filed a complaint so that people don’t think of forcibly taking selfies and creating scuffles. Had some iron rods been lying there, Rabbani could have died. He was pushed like this. You can see in the video that I was also about to fall.

DCP said – we are investigating
DCP Rajput said that I have spoken to Sonu Nigam. Till now we have not found any such evidence to ascertain whether the accused really wanted to take selfie or there is some other reason. We are probing to find out the reason.

Priyanka Chaturvedi said – there was a minor scuffle, it was not an attack
Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi told news agency ANI that the local MLA’s son was going to take a selfie with her after Sonu Nigam’s performance but was stopped by Sonu’s bodyguard as he did not recognize her. . There was a minor scuffle between them on this.

Due to which one or two people fell from the stage. Meanwhile, the MLA’s daughter and former BMC corporator came in between and stopped them. After this the injured were taken to the hospital. So it is not an attack.
