He informed that the Atal Tunnel and Manali-Leh Highway were closed for traffic due to heavy snowfall. Now with the opening of the weather, the movement of vehicles has been started, but there is a danger of skidding of vehicles due to slippery road.

Risk of accident increased due to slippery road
The DSP said that the BRO team is engaged in clearing snow from the road from the North and South portals of Atal Tunnel. The road has been opened for vehicular movement, but tourists are not yet allowed. Those who have been given permission are also advised to practice safe driving.
