The BJP has been holding meetings continuously since July 6 regarding the upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

Assembly elections are to be held in five states of the country by the end of this year and Lok Sabha elections next year. BJP has started preparing for this. The round of meetings is going on from 6th July. BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda has reshuffled the National Working Committee on Saturday. In this, the names of 10 people including Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar have been included.

Besides him, Suresh Kashyap, Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal, Vishnudev Sai, Dharamlal Kaushik, Ashwini Sharma, Somavir Raju, Deepak Prakash, Kirori Lal Meena and Dr. Satish Poonia have been made members of the National Working Committee of the party. At the same time, Subhash Kannoth has been made the state general secretary (organisation) of Kerala.

Earlier on July 3, the BJP had changed state presidents in four states. D Purandeshwari in Andhra Pradesh, former CM Babulal Marandi in Jharkhand, Sunil Jakhar in Punjab and G Kishan Reddy in Telangana were made state presidents.

Former state presidents of 4 states have been given a place in the list of members of the new National Working Committee. It includes former state president of Jharkhand Deepak Prakash, former state president of Rajasthan Satish Poonia, former state president of Telangana Bandi Sanjay besides former state president of Bihar Sanjay Jaiswal.

On July 7, the BJP had appointed election in-charges in 4 states.
On July 7, the BJP had announced election in-charges in 4 states including Rajasthan and MP. Union Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi was given the responsibility of Rajasthan, Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav was given the responsibility of Madhya Pradesh, OP Mathur was given the responsibility of Chhattisgarh and Prakash Javadekar was given the responsibility of Telangana.

The party had also appointed co-in-charges of these states. In Rajasthan, along with Joshi, Nitin Patel and Kuldeep Bishnoi were made co-incharges. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was appointed co-in-charge in Madhya Pradesh. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya was given the responsibility of co-incharge in Chhattisgarh.

Apart from this, Sunil Bansal was appointed as co-in-charge in Telangana. Assembly elections are to be held in these four states by the end of this year. BJP in Madhya Pradesh, Congress in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh and Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Telangana.
