Mobile battery exploded during charging in Lunkaransar of Bikaner on Saturday. Due to this the house caught fire. Two children were sleeping inside the house at the time of the incident. The condition of the three-month-old girl is critical. She has suffered 35 per cent burns. In saving both the children, both the hands of the young man got burnt. All three have been admitted to the hospital. Patwari Jitendra Mahatma, who reached the spot, also said in the report – The fire broke out after the battery of the mobile exploded.
The incident took place in Meghwal Dhani of Hansera Gram Panchayat of Lunkaransar at around 10.30 am.
The mobile was on charge in the hut. The blast took place in this.
The family had gone to harvest
Sohan Ram Meghwal, who lives in Hansera, has two sons-in-law, Mukesh and Ramesh. These two are real brothers. Both the sons-in-law had come for harvesting. On Saturday morning, both the sons-in-law along with the family were harvesting the crops in the field situated at some distance from Dhani. Mukesh and Ramesh’s sister Sulochana had also come along. Old mobiles were on charge in the hut built near Dhani. Sulochana was cooking food in Dhani. Suddenly a four-year-old child came running out of Dhani’s hut. Told Sulochana that the hut was on fire inside.

Injured Mukesh’s brother Ramesh told that Vivo company’s smartphone was on charge. Its battery explodes, due to which the hut is on fire. Mukesh’s daughter Tapasya (3 months), daughter Mukesh and Manav (2) son Magharam were sleeping in the hut. The hut was made of khimp (grass). Sulochana immediately called Ramesh and Mukesh. Both ran towards the hut. A fire was blazing in front. There was smoke in the hut. Even after this, Mukesh risked his life and ran to save the children. He pulled out both the children, but fell himself. For this reason his face, waist, back, both legs and one hand got scorched. Both the children were also caught in the fire. Three months of austerity has scorched up to 35 percent. The man has suffered minor burns.

Due to the fire, many things of the house were burnt to ashes. There were also gold and silver ornaments in it. Their cost is estimated to be around one lakh rupees. Apart from this, 30 thousand rupees were in cash, which turned into ashes. The mobile kept there was also completely burnt. Four bags of urea, one bag of oil and one quintal of wheat were also burnt in the hut.

That’s why accidents happen
In villages and dhanis, people make huts with khimp (a kind of grass) with wooden forces (long and round wood). The grass catches fire quickly after drying. In such a situation, fire starts as soon as a spark reaches near this pole. When the whole hut is made of thatch, it is difficult to get out of the fire. Many times people have died in this accident in Bikaner. From grains to cattle get burnt.
