In Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district, a man killed his own relative over a dispute over construction material. He also made the murder live on Facebook. The accused attacked his aunt and his father Ram Singh with an axe. In which Ram Singh died.
The incident happened on Friday and the police caught the accused within a few hours. He has been identified as 32-year-old Bhairav Singh, who is a laborer by profession.

On June 16 at around 4 pm, the accused went to the house of his aunt Anju Devi and her father Ram Krishna near the house. During this he turns on live streaming on Facebook. The entire incident is captured on camera.
In which it was seen that at first he argues with both while going on the road. After that, he attacks both of them with an axe. After committing the murder he shows the two covered in blood and runs away.

Accused Bhairo Singh posted another video after the murder. In which he says, I told many times to return my stones. My stones have been used to build your house… I asked Panchayat, Tehsildar and others, but no one helped me.
The police caught the accused within a few hours of the incident.
Accused caught from forest, injured himself
The police caught the accused from the forest and the ax with which he committed the murder. That too was seized. According to the police, during the custody, the accused tried to injure himself.
Doda district SSP Abdul Qayoom said that an FIR under sections 302, 307 and 342 of IPC has been registered at Police Station Gandoh and investigation is underway.
Son denied any dispute
The SSP said, the deceased had taken construction material from the accused, which led to an altercation between the two and the accused committed the murder. The case is being investigated.
On the other hand, the son of the deceased denied any kind of dispute. He says there was no dispute. I don’t know why he killed my father. We demand strictest punishment for the accused.
