Nagendra, the kidnapped businessman from Haryana’s Faridabad city, has been murdered. Nagendra’s body has been recovered from a 150-feet deep ditch from the Thana Talli Tal area in Nainital, Uttarakhand. The Faridabad Crime Branch reached Nainital while tracing the accused and with the help of the local police recovered the dead body by conducting a search operation.
Cause of death not yet known
The accused is Pankaj, the partner of the deceased, who abducted Nagendra from Sector-15 on May 30. The post-mortem of Nagendra’s body will be conducted by a board of doctors in Nainital to ascertain the cause of death. At the same time, the news of the recovery of Nagendra’s body has reached the family. At the same time, raids are going on in search of accused Pankaj.
Case registered on the complaint of the driver
Giving information, police spokesperson Sube Singh said that on the complaint of Nagendra’s driver Bansi, a case was registered against the accused Pankaj at the Central Police Station under sections of kidnapping and possession of illegal weapons, as the driver Bansi was with Nagendra at the time of kidnapping. Pankaj had kidnapped Nagendra by firing.
Police got the clues of the accused
While taking action in the case, on the basis of technical information and CCTV footage, Crime Branch teams reached Uttarakhand in search of Nagendra and following him to nab the accused, the body was recovered from Nainital. Suspicion has been raised to kill by pushing into the ditch. Accused Pankaj will be arrested soon, as the Crime Branch has got some important clues of the accused.
There was a dispute over money transactions
Interrogation of the driver revealed that Pankaj had to take money from Nagendra, but he was not giving it, due to which there was a rift between the two. Because of this the quarrel was going on. Pankaj had started having a grudge. On May 30, when Nagendra had come to Sector-15 with his driver Bansi for some work, Pankaj fired upon him and took him with him.
