Uncle doesn’t even know where Amritpal is

Tarsem Singh reached the court to meet his brother Harjeet Singh after receiving information from the police that the accused would be produced in the court of Baba Bakala Sahib. However, before that the police imposed NSA on Harjeet Singh and sent him to Dibrugarh Jail in Assam. According to Tarsem Singh, Harjit Singh called the family on Sunday night. Then Harjeet Singh had told that he had spoken to the DIG of the border range of Punjab Police and he was going to surrender.

Tarsem Singh claimed that he had asked Harjit Singh about Amritpal but Harjit Singh also had no information about him. Amritpal and his uncle Harjeet Singh had left home together in Jallupur Kheda village on the morning of March 18, but got separated on the way after being chased by the police.

Tarsem Singh claimed that in the phone conversation, Harjeet Singh was saying that Amritpal would be in the custody of the police, but he too could not say for sure.

try to defame

Tarsem Singh said that his family is being defamed. The police did not find anything from the de-addiction center being run in his house or village.

Tarsem Singh said that it was Amritpal who had given the name of Anandpur Khalsa Fauj (AKF) to the people accompanying him. Just as the Nihangs are called Khalsa Fauj, in the same way Amritpal gave this name to those who were with him.

Father kept silent on funding

On Amritpal’s financier Daljit Singh Kalsi receiving funding from abroad, Tarsem Singh said that he was not aware of it. Only Kalsi can answer this.

Expressing concern over the non-receipt of his son Amritpal, Tarsem Singh said that as time is passing by, the family is dreading his encounter.
