Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra from Haryana’s Panipat has been training hard for Mission Paris. This year they have played the first competition Doha League. In which he has won gold medal. After this, he will now participate in the ‘Fanny Blankers-Koen Games’ in Hengelo, Netherlands on June 4.

Along with this, he will have two more competitions in the month of June. In which Neeraj Chopra will look to better his silver medal effort at the Paavo Nurmi Games to be held in Turku, Finland on June 13, which will be his third competition of the season.

A year ago in Turku, Chopra cleared 89.30m to win silver, and later improved to 89.94m to finish second at the World Championships in Eugene, USA.

Neeraj will compete with these giants
German star Johannes Wetter, who failed to even qualify for the final round of the Tokyo Olympic Games after entering the quadrangular Games as a hot favourite, will renew his rivalry with Chopra in nearly two years. The Paavo Nurmi Games is a World Athletics Continental Tour gold-level meet.

Apart from Vetter, Chopra will also take on Tokyo Olympic silver medalist Jakob Wadlejch, Trinidad and Tobago’s Keshorn Walcott, European champion Julian Weber of Germany and Finland’s European Championships bronze medalist Lassi Ettelolo.
