दुनियाभर में फैलेगा कोरोना का XBB.1.16 वैरिएंट: भारत में बढ़ते कोरोना मामलों के पीछे भी यही वैरिएंट; कोरोना के डेली केस 6 हजार पार

A new information has come to light about the XBB.1.16 Omicron variant of the corona virus. It has been told in a study that this variant has the ability to spread rapidly in humans and in future it will spread worldwide. This variant is also behind the rising corona cases in India.

According to the study, this variant spreads in humans 1.27 times faster than the XBB.1 variant and 1.17 times faster than the XBB.1.5 variant. This variant has immunity to many types of anti-SARS antibodies.

This variant was revealed in many countries at the end of March. Since then WHO is monitoring this variant.

926 new cases were found in Maharashtra and 733 in Delhi.
On Friday, 733 new corona patients appeared in the capital Delhi. During this, 460 patients were cured of corona. Currently, there are 2,331 active cases of corona in the capital.

On the other hand, 926 new cases of corona were reported in Maharashtra on Friday and three people died. For the first time in this year in Maharashtra, so many cases have been reported in a single day. At present, the number of active cases in the state has reached 4,487. The positivity rate is more than 10% in more than 10 districts of Maharashtra.

Earlier on Thursday, 6050 corona cases were found in the country. After 7 months, the number of corona cases found in a day in the country had crossed 6 thousand.

This includes the Corona figures till Thursday.

Union Health Minister asked to increase testing
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya held a review meeting with the States-Union Territories on Friday. Mandaviya has asked the health ministers of the states to visit all the hospitals on April 10 and 11 and review the mock drill.

Mandaviya said- We have reviewed the current situation of Corona. States have been directed to identify emergency hotspots, increase testing, genome sequencing and improve hospital infrastructure. Apart from this, it has been asked to strictly follow the rules related to Corona.

Mandaviya said – We need to be alert, not panic. Presently the sub-variant of Omicron is spreading in the country. It does not require hospitalization. Earlier on Wednesday, the Covid Empowerment Working Group had also held a review meeting.

26,523 new cases found in 6 days
In the first 6 days of April itself, 26,523 new cases have been found. On the other hand, in 31 days of March, 31,902 cases of corona were reported. If we look at the average, an average of 1 thousand new cases were found daily in March, whereas in April, an average of 4.4 thousand cases are coming daily.

Two-thirds of new cases in top-5 states, Kerala at the forefront
On Thursday, 6,050 new corona patients were found in the country. Of these, 4,037 cases were found in only 5 states. The Health Ministry released these figures on Friday.

Kerala: 1,936 new cases were found here, while one person died. 742 people also got cured. Earlier on September 22, 2300 cases were reported.

Maharashtra: 803 new cases were found here last day, 687 people got cured while 3 people died. On Wednesday, 569 new cases were found here. The positivity rate here is 7.05%.

Delhi: 606 new cases and one person died here on the last day, while 340 people were cured of this disease. Active cases have gone up to 2,060. The positivity rate here is 16.98%.

Himachal Pradesh: 367 new cases were reported here on Thursday, while 1 died and 138 people were cured. Currently there are 1,933 active cases in the state. Here the positivity rate has gone up to 7.31%.

Gujarat: Here 327 new cases were found, 1 person died and 360 people were cured. On Wednesday, 351 new cases were found here. The positivity rate here is 1.45%.
