Kanjhawala-like hit-and-run case has again come to the fore in Delhi’s VIP area. A car hit two bike riders at the intersection of Kasturba Gandhi and Tolstoy Marg near Connaught Place. Of these, the bike driver fell on the roof of the car, but the driver of the car did not stop the vehicle for 3 km. The driver fled by throwing him near Delhi Gate. This incident happened late on Saturday night.

Dipanshu Verma, 30, died in the accident. At the same time, 20-year-old Mukul has suffered serious injuries. Mukul is Dipanshu’s aunt’s son. Dipanshu’s sister Unnati told that when the eyewitnesses saw my brother after the accident, he was alive.

Unnati further told that the eyewitnesses tried to stop the car driver, but he increased the speed of the car after hearing their voices. Going forward, when he threw my brother down from the roof of the car, he got hurt on his head. This was the reason of his death. All this was done intentionally by the car driver.

At the same time, the police told that the name of the car driver is Harneet Singh Chawla. He was drunk and was driving the Mahindra XUV when the accident happened. A case of murder has been registered in this matter. The arrest of the accused has also been done.

A similar hit and run case happened in Delhi four months ago.
On the night of December 31, 20-year-old Anjali was hit by five car-borne youths in Delhi’s Kanjhawala. After this, they dragged Anjali for 12 km. According to the police, the girl died on the spot. After the accident, the accused fled with the car.
