Sheejan Khan, the main accused in the Tunisha Sharma suicide case, has got bail. His mother and two sisters Falak Naaz and Shafak Naaz had reached Vasai Court to receive him. After leaving the jail, Sheejan was seen hugging him and crying bitterly. Sheejan got bail from the Vasai court on March 4 after being in jail for nearly 70 days.
TV actress Tunisha committed suicide by hanging herself on the shooting sets on 24 December. Hours after Tunisha committed suicide, her mother lodged a complaint against her co-star Sheezan Mohammed Khan. Sheejan was arrested by the police on 25 December 2022.

Sheejan and Tunisha were dating each other for about 4 months. Both had a breakup 15 days before Tunisha’s suicide. In the interrogation after the arrest, Sheejan Khan accepted the breakup with Tunisha because of age and religion.
