Today is the 131st day of Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra. It was canceled after heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban. Many roads were blocked due to landslides and heavy rains. For this reason the second leg of the yatra was cancelled. Information about the matter was tweeted by Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh. He said that there will be a holiday on Republic Day and the yatra will start again from 8 am on January 27.

The journey will end after reaching Srinagar.
According to the schedule of Congress, on January 25 i.e. from 8 am today, the yatra started from Ramban. As per the plan, it was to stop at Khobagh area, but now it has been cancelled. The yatra will end on January 30 by reaching Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir.

The journey started on 7 September
Congress started this yatra on 7th September. Bharat Jodo Yatra traveled from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu to the Union Territory of Kashmir via Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, UP, Delhi, Haryana and Punjab. This journey of Rahul is about 3570 km. Through this yatra, Congress is focusing on 372 Lok Sabha seats.
