A woman died after falling from a local train at Indira Nagar station in Chennai. The dying woman was standing on the footboard of the train talking on the phone. When the thieves tried to snatch her mobile, she fell on the platform.

The incident took place on July 2, while the woman died on July 8 due to head injuries. The girl who died was identified as Preethi, 22, of Kotturpuram. The thieves stole his mobile phone and left him there unconscious.

Police reached thieves by tracking mobile
Chennai Police took the help of Cyber ​​Crime Unit to solve the case. Where the team tracked Preeti’s location through her call records. The police traced a man named Raju, who worked at a fish shop in Besant Nagar. During interrogation, Raju disclosed that he had bought the phone from two people for Rs 2000.

After this the police reached the accused Manimaran and Vignesh. During interrogation, both confessed to stealing the phone from Preeti. The police arrested both the accused and produced them in the magistrate’s court. From where he was sent to custody.

Preeti’s father had registered the case of Accidental Case. After the confession of the accused, it was converted into a murder case.
