Chopped body parts of a woman have been found in a drum kept in a locked room in Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam. The incident is of Madurwada. Police suspect that the woman’s body was lying there for more than a year. A case has been registered on the complaint of the landlord.

I came to know when the landlord broke the door
A person had given his house on rent in Madurwada. In June 2021, the tenant had vacated the house without paying dues citing his wife’s pregnancy. After almost one and a half years, the landlord kept waiting for the return of the tenant. After this he broke the lock.

When the landlord was clearing out the household items, he found the decomposed body parts of the woman in a plastic drum.

The tenant had entered the house by theft, the pieces may be of the wife
Police Commissioner Shrikant says that he suspects that these pieces may belong to the tenant’s wife. Preliminary evidence suggests that the body was cut into pieces a year and a half ago, which has now been ascertained. The complaining landlord said that the tenant had once entered the house through the back door.
