A bunch of photographers thrashed youths while forcing them to click pictures near the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab. The bloodied youth are now demanding justice. On the other hand, the people around say that every Saturday-Sunday there is hooliganism in the name of taking photographs. Police has started action on the basis of injured youths.

The incident took place on Saturday night on the heritage route leading to the Golden Temple. On Saturday night, a person made a video and made it viral. The youth seen in the video have been badly beaten up. He has been beaten so much that from his head to his clothes are soaked in blood.

The victim told that he along with his brother and friends had come to pay obeisance at the Golden Temple. Then some photographers came to him. He asked to take photographs. The youths refused saying that they had no money. In the name of demo picture, the photographers started jostling with the young man. Seeing this, the young man’s brother and friends also came, but about two dozen photographers gathered there and beat up about six youths badly.

The ASI who reached the spot told that every Saturday-Sunday there is a fight here. Many times the photographers have been explained not to do such acts. But they do not desist from troubling the Sangat coming to the Gurughar. The victim says that they will recognize the youths. Appropriate action will be taken on the statement of the victims.
