During this, a knife was inserted in his neck and blood was flowing. Doctors in the hospital took out the knife from his neck after 4 hours of struggle. He will be discharged from the hospital in a day or two.
The accused is absconding since the incident. Police is looking for the accused. The victim says that he does not know why the younger brother attacked him. The matter is of June 3.

Navi Mumbai-based businessman Tejas Jaydev Patil was attacked by his younger brother Monish with a knife on his neck, police said. Monish attacked Tejas when he was sleeping at his house in Sanpada.
After this, Tejas himself reached the hospital by riding a kilometer bike. During this, a knife was inserted in his neck. On reaching the hospital, the doctors started his treatment. At present his condition is stable.
60% of the knife had entered the neck
Doctors at MPCT Hospital say that 60% of the knife had entered Tejas’ neck, due to which a lot of blood had flowed. Apart from this, he also had injuries on his head and face.
The head of the hospital, Dr. Surana told that 8×1.5 cm deep wound was caused due to knife stabbing in the neck. We had to perform very careful surgery to remove the knife, as a slight mistake could damage a nearby nerve or artery.
The knife was completely jammed in the neck. We saved him after a four-hour long surgery. Tejas may be discharged from the hospital on Wednesday or Thursday.
Tejas told – his brother is an alcoholic
Tejas told in his statement to the police that he used to do water tanker business with his brother, but his brother is an alcoholic. That’s why he didn’t pay attention to work. However, Tejas does not know why Monish attacked him. Monish is absconding since the incident, the police is looking for him.
