Monsoon reached Kerala on Thursday, progressed rapidly and crossed Kerala and reached Karnataka in a single day. On the other hand, monsoon rains have started in Tamil Nadu as well. Monsoon will reach Tamil Nadu and North East states in the next two days.

According to the IMD, by June 10, the monsoon will move from the south and reach Maharashtra and cover the northeastern states and reach Bihar via West Bengal. By June 15, monsoon can cover Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and entire Bihar.
