Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held a press conference on Thursday after the Supreme Court’s decision. He thanked Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and all the judges.

The Supreme Court today ruled that only the elected government will have control over government officials in Delhi. A 5-judge constitution bench said in a unanimous opinion – except for public order, police and land, the lieutenant governor will work with the advice and cooperation of the Delhi government in all other matters. Kejriwal said- The Prime Minister is like a father for every state. It is the duty of the father to take care of everyone equally.

1. Took out the form, offered glasses and said thank you
Kejriwal came, took out a slip from his pocket, put on spectacles and said – The order passed by the Supreme Court today is a historic order in many ways. It is a huge victory for the people of Delhi. The Supreme Court has done justice to the injustice done to the people of Delhi.

2. PM snatched transfer-posting rights from us
He said, “Eight years ago today, on 14 February 2015, our government was formed. Within 3 months of forming the government, the Prime Minister got an order passed by the Central Government that the matters of Delhi’s services will no longer be with the Chief Minister, the Center or the LG. This means that all the officers and employees working in Delhi, transfer-posting, appointment, posting of peons from IAS will not be with the Delhi government.

3. Delhi’s work was stopped through officers
Kejriwal said, “That means I am the Chief Minister and someone is taking bribe in front of me, so I cannot take action on him. We could not decide who would be the Secretary of Health and Education. It has been 8 years, Delhi is using this Work stopped. Deliberately. They will put an education secretary who will not work. Blockers will be made. Every work in Delhi stopped. Both my hands were tied behind. I was thrown into the river to swim Gone. It is thanks to the almighty that somehow he kept swimming.’

4. Thanks to the public, victory is the result of their blessings
He said, “Despite this, we did a wonderful job inside Delhi. You can imagine how much more work we could have done if we had full power. Today we thank the Supreme Court, Justice Chandrachud and all the judges That he gave justice. I congratulate the people of Delhi, they have supported me in the struggle. This victory is the result of their blessings and support.

5. Will work with 10 times more speed
Kejriwal said, ‘Now we have got a chance that the work of Delhi will be done at 10 times the speed. It is most important that we have to give such an administration, which works, is sensitive to the needs. There will be a huge administrative change in the next few days. Officers will be transferred on the basis of work. There are some employees and officers who stopped the work of the people of Delhi, stopped medicines, stopped water. Will identify such employees and officers, they will have to bear the fruits of their deeds.

There were some who were feeling suffocated, they wanted to work. They will get a chance to work. Corrupt and incompetent, they will be removed from good posts. Those who work will be given a chance.
