आसाराम को मिली जमानत: सुप्रीम कोर्ट में पेश किए थे फर्जी सर्टिफिकेट; क्या जेल से बाहर आएगा?

Asaram, who raped a minor student, got bail from the Jodhpur High Court today. This bail has been obtained in the case of Asaram presenting fake documents in the Supreme Court. Asaram is serving a life sentence in a rape case, so he will not be able to come out of jail even after getting bail.

Justice Kuldeep Mathur, while hearing the matter, ordered bail. Advocates Neelkamal Bohra and Gokulesh Bohra presented the side of Asaram.

Let us inform that in the Supreme Court in the year 2017, the medical certificate of the dispensary of Jodhpur Central Jail was presented on behalf of Asaram, in which many serious diseases of Asaram were mentioned. When the Supreme Court got this certificate investigated, the matter turned out to be fake.

On the orders of the Supreme Court, an FIR was registered against Asaram’s advocate Ravi Rai in Jodhpur’s Ratanada police station and Asaram was also made an accused in the case.

In this case, on January 18, Asaram was produced before the CJM Metro Court. The charges were pronounced against Asaram in the court. After this, Asaram’s lawyer had filed a bail petition in the High Court. The same petition was heard today.

In this case, Asaram’s advocate had already got bail. After this, a hearing was held in the High Court on April 26 and the verdict was reserved. On Monday, the same verdict was read out, in which Asaram was granted bail in the case of fake medical certificate.

Asaram’s lawyer gave this argument
During the hearing held on April 26, Asaram’s lawyer had said that Asaram himself had not sent the medical certificates to the Supreme Court because Asaram was in jail. His advocate has already got bail in the same case. Therefore, there should be no hindrance in granting bail to Asaram.

Asaram’s counsel also argued that the court in which the cheating related to the medical certificate has taken place can become the complainant.

Asaram preparing to be released on parole by taking bail in small cases
Asaram has tried many times to be released on bail and parole in the case of rape, but he is not getting parole. Many cases are registered against him, that is why now Asaram is trying to get bail in small cases first.

Asaram’s lawyer Gokulesh Bohra said that till now Asaram has been punished in all the cases, but getting bail in the fake certificate case has given relief to Asaram. We are also working on a strategy to release on parole in the main case of Asaram after small bails.
