In the Shraddha murder case, the Delhi Police told the Saket court on Tuesday that accused Aftab Amin is a trained chef, so he knows how to keep meat safe. During the court hearing, the police said that Aftab had worked as a chef in a five-star hotel. After killing Shraddha, Aftab had ordered dry ice and incense sticks.

The police told the court that after killing Shraddha, Aftab had made another girlfriend. Aftab had also given her a ring. Government lawyer Amit Prasad is representing the Delhi Police in the court. He told in the court how Aftab killed his live-in partner and then threw the body parts of her dead body in the forest.

The next hearing in the case will be on March 20.
Aftab Poonawalla has changed his lawyer. Earlier, advocate MS Khan was appearing on his behalf in the court. That is why Justice Manish Khurana Kakkar has given time to Aftab’s lawyer to present his arguments. Further hearing in the matter will be held on March 20.

Aftab was arrested on 12 November
Aftab is accused of strangulating his live-in partner Shraddha Walker in May 2022. Later his body was cut into 35 pieces and kept in the fridge. Then threw them in the forest. Delhi Police arrested him on 12 November 2022. On January 24, the police filed a 6,629-page charge sheet against Aftab in this case. The charge sheet has been filed under sections 302, 201 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Let us tell you that during the investigation Delhi Police had done narco and polygraph test of Aftab, in which he confessed to killing Shraddha. In the case, the police recorded statements of more than 150 witnesses. The police had also recorded Aftab’s vice samples, at present the matter is in the court.
