YS Sharmila, sister of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, heads the YSRTP party in Telangana.
Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy’s sister and YSRTP party chief YS Sharmila has described Telangana as India’s Afghanistan. The Chief Minister KCR there is its Taliban. Sharmila said this on Sunday in Mahabubabad. He said that the CM of Telangana is a dictator and a tyrant. Indian constitution is not applicable in Telangana, only KCR’s constitution works there.
Sharmila had earlier made derogatory remarks against the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Mahabubabad MLA Shankar Naik in a public meeting on Saturday. He said that you made many promises to the people, which you did not fulfill. If you are not fulfilling your promises, it means that you are Kojja (impotent).

Against this remark of Sharmila, the BRS demonstrated on the streets and burnt the hoardings and flex of her party. The protesters raised slogans of Go Back Sharmila and demanded action against her. After this, the Telangana police took Sharmila into custody. A case was also registered against him under section 504 of IPC and section 3(1)r of SC ST POA Act.
