Smugglers sitting in Pakistan once again sent drones to the Indian border. Border Security Force (BSF) personnel on the outskirts of Amritsar in Punjab succeeded in driving back the drone. For vigilance, a search operation was conducted on the border, in which heroin worth about Rs 21 crore was seized.
The consignment fell in the fields, which was seized by the BSF jawans.
According to the information shared by BSF, Pakistani smugglers had sent this drone towards Bachiwind village of Amritsar. Blinkers were fitted on the drone so that the smugglers could identify and pick it up. But before the smugglers, the BSF jawans caught sight of the drone. The jawans fired several rounds. After a few minutes the drone returned back to the Pakistani side.

Consignment found during search
At the same time BSF jawans surrounded the area and search was started. The consignment was found fallen in the fields of village Bachiwind. It was thrown in a black diesel branded bag. When it was opened, there were three packets in it. In which there was 3.2 kg of heroin. Whose international value is being estimated at around Rs 21 crore.
Install blinkers, so that it is easy for smugglers
Blinkers were fitted on the consignment recovered by BSF. These blinkers do not wake up while binding with the drone in the air, but start blinking as soon as they fall on the ground. Pak smugglers have adopted this technique for Indian smugglers, so that smugglers can easily find lost consignments.

Drone shot down in Jammu and Kashmir
In the past, the local police had succeeded in shooting down a drone carrying weapons in Jammu and Kashmir. This drone was dropped in Rajori sector. To which a wooden box was tied. In which weapons and cash were kept. It was the same type of box and method as used by Pakistani smugglers to send consignments of arms and heroin to the Punjab border.
