Amritpal Singh has undergone plastic surgery in the craze to look like Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala, who raised the voice of Khalistan movement in the era of terrorism in Punjab. Amritpal stayed in Georgia for two months
Amritpal reportedly spent about two months in Georgia. The arrested men told intelligence officers that he had gone to Georgia for a surgery to look like Bhindranwale.
Intelligence agencies are also trying to ascertain how Amritpal appeared suddenly in August last year after the death of Punjabi actor and Waaris Punjab De founder Deep Sidhu. Who was behind this that he was given the responsibility of the organization despite the opposition of Deep Sidhu’s family. The arrested people said that Amritpal Singh had made several posts on social media during the farmers’ protest in Delhi and was also in contact with some people.
