Home Minister Amit Shah has said that the Supreme Court has formed a 2-member committee to investigate the Adani-Hindenburg case. Those who have any evidence in this matter, they should give this evidence to this committee. No one would be spared if something went wrong.

He said in a private channel program in Delhi on Friday that everyone should have faith in the courts of the country. SEBI is also probing the matter along with the Supreme Court committee. Shah further said that people should not make baseless allegations, as they do not stand up to scrutiny.

Rahul was reminded of Indira’s statement
Shah also attacked Rahul Gandhi’s statements made in London. He said that Rahul’s grandmother Indira Gandhi had gone to England after the Emergency. At that time she was in the opposition and the government was preparing to send her to jail.

He said- ‘In England he was asked how your country is doing. In response to this, Indira said that my country is doing well. There are some issues but I don’t want to dwell on them here. Here I am an Indian and I will not say anything about my country.

Amit Shah has reminded the Congress with his statement that Indira Gandhi had also refused to go abroad and discuss the country's issues.

Big 2 things of Amit Shah’s speech

  • Parliament will run if the opposition talks: Amit Shah said that if the opposition parties come forward and talk, the ongoing deadlock in Parliament can end. If both the parties sit and discuss in front of the Speaker, then the Parliament will be able to run smoothly. Targeting the Congress, he said that they only talk to the media, hold press conferences. Nothing can happen from this. Everyone has the freedom to speak in the Parliament, but for this some rules have to be followed.
  • Investigating agencies working impartially: Shah said that all the investigating agencies including CBI and ED are working impartially. These agencies are not above the court. Their action can be challenged in the court. He asked why these people are shouting instead of going to court against the action of the agencies.
Manish Sisodia is currently in ED custody and lodged in Tihar Jail. Many other opposition leaders are also on the radar of the investigating agencies.

  • All cases registered during UPA regime: The Home Minister said that during the 10 years of UPA rule, there were allegations of scams worth about Rs 12 lakh crore. To handle the situation at that time, the UPA government itself had registered cases in the CBI. Except 2, all the other cases have been registered during the UPA regime only.
  • Opposition parties accuse Central Investigation Agencies: Opposition parties accuse the central investigative agencies of targeting them and helping the BJP. At present, several opposition leaders including former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, former Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain, Telangana CM’s daughter K Kavitha, RJD leader and Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav are being processed by these agencies.
