The picture is of the fifth day of the Parliament session i.e. Friday. Sonia and Rahul Gandhi protested outside Parliament demanding a JPC probe into the Adani case.
The Parliament session is starting once again on Monday. From last Monday till Friday, both the Houses of the Parliament witnessed an uproar. During this, even for a single day the session could not run completely. While the ruling party is demanding an apology from Rahul Gandhi for the statement made in London, the opposition is adamant on demanding a JPC on the Adani-Hindenburg report. Even today there is every possibility of an uproar.
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi reached Parliament on Thursday and met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and sought time for speech in the House. However, the speaker did not allow it. After this, the Congress party is continuously demanding to give time to Rahul to speak. Even on Friday, Congress MPs were raising slogans of letting Rahul Gandhi speak. After this the session was adjourned.

Rahul had given a statement regarding the rape victim in Srinagar on January 30, the end of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. The police had reached for questioning in the same case. However, Rahul made the police officers wait for about two hours. Congress said – we will not be afraid.

Congress wrote- ‘Did Savarkar understand… the name is Rahul Gandhi’
On late Sunday evening, Rahul Gandhi has given a reply of 4 pages in 10 points through mail on the notice of Delhi Police. Rahul said whether this is happening because of my statement on Adani. I had given the statement 45 days ago, on which suddenly what is the need to give notice? Sexual harassment of women is still happening in the country. Rahul has sought 8-10 days time to file a detailed reply to this notice. At the same time, the Congress wrote on Twitter, ‘Savarkar understood what… the name is Rahul Gandhi’. Read full news…
Opposition united but not with Mamta Banerjee
The MPs of Sharad Pawar and Mamata Banerjee did not participate in the opposition demonstration.
In the last five-day session, on one hand, about 16 parties of the opposition, including the Congress, were seen together on every front. But the biggest concern for the opposition was the stellar performance of Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress (TMC).
More than 16 leaders of the opposition had held a meeting in the office of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge before the start of the session on last Monday i.e. March 13. After this, Adani appeared on a platform demanding JPC inquiry on Hindenburg report, on the issue of inflation and corruption. Despite Mamta’s MPs protested separately on these issues.
On Friday, when leaders of 16 opposition parties led by the Congress came to surround the ED office, Mamata Banerjee’s MPs remained absent in this too. Most of the discussion was about the fact that apart from Mamta’s party, MPs of Sharad Pawar’s NCP also stayed away from this protest march.
