A meeting of the Congress Parliamentary Party was held under the chairmanship of Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday.
Today is the 14th day of the budget session of the Parliament. Congress and opposition parties created ruckus in both the houses as soon as the session started. The opposition is adamant on the demand for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on the Adani-Hindenburg matter. Congress MPs did Black Protest even today. He was given instructions for this only yesterday. Due to the uproar, the proceedings of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha were adjourned till the first two o’clock. As soon as the action started at two o’clock, there was an uproar. On this the action of both the Houses was adjourned till Thursday.
The budget session of Parliament, which started on March 13, will end on Thursday, April 6. So far, apart from uproar in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, very little work has been done.
In the last 13 sittings, the Lok Sabha-Rajya Sabha witnessed an uproar over the demand for a Joint Parliamentary Committee on the Adani-Hindenburg matter and the cancellation of Rahul Gandhi’s membership. BJP MPs also created a lot of ruckus over Rahul Gandhi’s statement in London. However, since the end of Rahul’s Lok Sabha membership, the BJP has remained calm.

12 opposition parties attended Kharge’s meeting
A meeting of MPs of opposition parties was held in the chamber of Congress President and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge. In this, showing solidarity, the opposition parties announced to continue demanding the central government to form a JPC in the Adani case. MPs from 12 opposition parties attended the meeting. These include Congress, DMK, IUML, RSP, JDU, TMC, CPM, RJD, SP, SS, CPI and AAP. Here, a meeting of the Congress Parliamentary Party was held under the chairmanship of Sonia Gandhi. In this too, the Congress MPs made a strategy to attack the government on the demand of JPC.
Uddhav faction did not come to the opposition meeting, TMC joined
The Uddhav faction of the Shiv Sena did not attend the meeting. The Uddhav faction did not attend the last two meetings regarding Rahul Gandhi’s statement on Savarkar. According to sources, this time also the party stayed away from the meeting of opposition parties regarding the same issue. However, in the opposition camp, Mamta Banerjee’s party TMC MPs definitely attended this meeting. The TMC has been with the Congress for the last two meetings after Rahul Gandhi’s membership.
BJP comes with a plan not to allow the House to function: Kharge
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that we will not debate the court’s decision but will fight against injustice. The government does not want the formation of JPC in Adani’s case. They plan in advance not to allow the House to function.
