The police have taken the accused live-in partner into custody.
Another case like Shraddha Walkar murder case has come to light in Mumbai. A woman was murdered by her live-in partner in Mira Road area here and the body was cut into pieces. The police have taken the 56-year-old accused into custody.
The accused Manoj Sahni lived in a live-in relationship with 32-year-old Saraswati Vaidya in Akashganga building in Mira Road area. He was living in a rented flat on the 7th floor of this building for the last 3 years.
The people of the building called the police after the smell
The people living in the building smelled foul from the couple’s flat on Wednesday. After which he informed the police. When the police reached the spot, a woman’s body was found in the flat which was cut into pieces. DCP Jayat Bajbale said that preliminary investigation revealed that the woman was brutally murdered. The date of the murder is not yet known.
DCP Jayat Bajbale said that a special team has been formed to investigate the matter.
Headless dead body was found on Bhayander beach last week
Last week on June 2, a woman’s headless body was found at Bhayandar Beach in Mumbai. The body was kept in a suitcase. Police has identified the deceased. This dead body belonged to Anjali Singh, a resident of Sitamarhi, Bihar. Anjali was living in Mumbai for the last 2 years.
The police have arrested Anjali’s husband Mintu Singh on the charge of murder. According to media reports, Mintu banged Anjali’s head against the wall during the fight, which resulted in her death.

The decomposed body of a 53-year-old woman was found in a plastic bag in an apartment in Mumbai’s Lalbagh area. The incident is of the month of March this year. The woman’s brother and nephew had reported her missing at the Kalachowki police station.
