NPPA, the body that fixes the prices of medicines in the country, said on Friday that it has fixed the retail price of 23 medicines. These include drugs used to treat diabetes and high blood pressure.
NPPA has fixed the price of one tablet of diabetes drug Gliclazide ER and Metformin Hydrochloride at Rs 10.03. is fixed. The cost of one tablet of Telmisartan, Chlorthalidone and Cilnidipine is fixed at Rs 13.17. The retail price of a tablet of Trypsin, Bromelain, Rutoside Trihydrate, Diclofenac Sodium will be Rs.20.51.
