Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) President Uddhav Thackeray has targeted the party over BJP’s historic victory in the Gujarat Assembly. He said that just before the elections, the BJP shifted the big projects of Maharashtra to Gujarat, that is why the party got this victory. Now there are elections in Karnataka next year, may be BJP will merge villages of Maharashtra with Karnataka to win.
He said that Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is claiming the territories of Maharashtra, we need to take it seriously. This is BJP’s ploy to destabilize Maharashtra. Uddhav Thackeray said this in the press conference held on Thursday after the meeting of the leaders of Mahavikas Aghadi.
Mahavikas Aghadi will take out a march on December 17
Leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Ajit Pawar and state Congress president Nana Patole, who attended the meeting of the Mahavikas Aghadi, said that the march to be organized by the MVA in Mumbai on December 17 would be huge and the BJP’s anti-Maharashtra face would be brought to the fore.
The rally will be against the Eknath Shinde government and will raise issues like the objectionable statements made on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and the state’s mega projects being given to Gujarat.
Karnataka-Maharashtra border dispute flares up again
His statement has come at a time when the border dispute between Karnataka and Maharashtra is going on.
